Flow Field Test and Numerical Simulation of Horizontal Biaxial Solid-Liquid Two-Phase Homogenizing Equipment
Solvent extraction technology is widely used in the remediation of petroleum-contaminated soil, and the soil homogenization effect of mechanical stirring equipment has a significant impact on the remediation of contaminated soil.In this paper, two types of horizontal mixing equipment were compares and analyzes, including the inclined paddle type and the shovel type, for a 3 m3 treatment condition.Using a combination of internal flow field visualization experiments and numerical simulation, the solid-liquid mixing effects of the two types of agitators and the stirring speed were studied. The results showed that at the same rotational speed, compared with the inclined paddle mixer, the shovel mixer had a smaller variance in soil volume fraction, less solid deposition at the bottom, significantly lower stress, and better overall performance;for shovel-type agitators, with the increase of agitator speed, the solid-liquid two-phase mixing effect increased, and the stress and strain of the mixing device slightly increased. After exceeding 30 r·min-1,the solid-liquid two-phase mixing effect did not change, which can be used as the recommended working speed.
