Preparation and Performance Evaluation of a New High-Temperature Corrosion Inhibitor for Corrosion Protection in Refining Equipments
In order to reduce the corrosion rate of heat exchangers and other devices in refineries and extend their service life,a new high-temperature corrosion inhibitor HTS-2 suitable for corrosion protection in refineries was prepared through indoor experiments using organic amine monomers, formaldehyde and phenylacetone as raw materials. The synthesis process conditions of the inhibitor were optimized, and its corrosion protection effect was investigated. The results showed that when the molar ratio of aldehyde to ketone to amine in each raw material ratio was 1∶1∶1,the synthesis reaction temperature was 80℃,the reaction time was 12 h,and the amount of hydrochloric acid was 8 mL,the yield of the new high-temperature corrosion inhibitor HTS-2 was the highest, reaching 96.7%.As the mass fraction of high-temperature corrosion inhibitor HTS-2 gradually increased, the corrosion rate gradually decreased;as the temperature of the corrosion experiment gradually increased, the corrosion rate gradually increased. When the mass fraction of the new high-temperature corrosion inhibitor HTS-2 was 2%and the corrosion test temperature was 150℃,the corrosion rate of the steel in the heat exchanger device of the target refinery was as low as 0.097 mm·a-1.The research results indicated that the corrosion inhibitor HTS-2 had good temperature resistance and could meet the corrosion protection requirements of refining equipment under high temperature conditions.
