Optimization of Injection Method for Variable Flow Polymer Flooding in Block Y
Block Y belongs to Class II oil layers,with significant differences in the development and connectivity of the oil layers,resulting in uneven exploitation.In order to better develop Class II oil reservoirs,it is necessary to conduct optimization research on the injection method of variable flow polymer flooding.The numerical simulation method was applied to fit the history of water flooding stage and study the distribution of remaining oil.Based on this,three schemes were designed to optimize the injection method of variable flow polymer flooding,including"cascade viscosity reduction""single constant viscosity"and"cascade viscosity increase".The results showed that the cascade viscosity reduction injection method had the best effect,which increased the recovery rate by 13.29%on the basis of water flooding,further increasing the recovery rate by 1.92%compared to a single constant viscosity injection method.The research results have great reference significance for the adjustment of polymer flooding development and the optimization and efficiency improvement of polymer flooding.
