Chemical Performance Analysis and Economic Benefit Evaluation of Corrosion Resistant Coatings
Through the comprehensive use of various analytical technologies such as EDS,FTIR and electrochemical testing, the unique chemical composition and structural characteristics of the indoor-prepared coating were comprehensively revealed,as well as its protective performance in different corrosive environments.Experimental results showed that the chemical properties of the new coating were reflected in its unique component ratio, especially the enrichment of Zn and Cr.These elements provided the coating significant chemical stability and excellent anti-corrosion properties.EDS analysis verified the uniform distribution of elements in the coating, and FTIR analysis revealed the existence of Si—O—Si and Zn—O chemical bonds. These structural features were crucial for enhancing the corrosion resistance of the coating. The electrochemical test results further proved that the new coating had extremely low average corrosion rate(0.05 mm·a-1)in an alkaline environment, which was significantly better than traditional coatings, reflecting its excellent corrosion resistance. In addition, through cost-benefit analysis, this study showed that long-term application of the new coating could significantly reduce maintenance costs, saving up to 20 yuan per square meter, demonstrating its superior economics.
