Salt dissolution and salt creep are easy to occur when drilling huge salt zone in deep water,which brings great technical challenges to cementing operations.In order to reduce the adverse effect of salt dissolution on the performance of cement slurry,saturated salt water is used to prepare cement slurry.Aiming at the problems of long thickening time and low compressive strength of saturated salt water cement slurry,a new accelerator C-A96L was developed,and its performance in saturated salt water cement slurry was evaluated.The results showed that C-A96L could shorten the thickening time and static gelling transition time of cement slurry,and improve the 24 h compressive strength of cement stone without affecting the rheological properties of cement slurry.The properties of the saturated salt water cement slurry system constructed with C-A96L as the core material also met the requirements for cementing operations.
