Erosion-Corrosion Behavior of 15CrMo Steel in H2S Environment
15CrMo steel with pearlitic structure was taken as the research object, and the environment containing H2S and sand was simulated and established by high temperature-pressure reactor,in which the erosion corrosion behavior of 15CrMo steel in the environment containing H2S was studied by immersion experiment and electrochemical experiment, combined with corrosion image and element distribution analysis method. The results showed that the dense corrosion product layer formed by Cr and Mo had a good protective effect on 15CrMo steel, and there was an obvious passivation zone in the anode section of the polarization curve.Subsequently, the impact of sand particles led to the destruction of the corrosion product layer, and the metal surface was transformed into active corrosion. At the same time, the corrosion potential remained basically unchanged, indicating that pitting corrosion was the main feature, but there was no typical trench erosion corrosion feature. In addition, under the combined action of H2S and scouring,micro-cracks were formed on the surface of 15CrMo steel.
