摘要
联苯类液晶具有光电性能和化学稳定性较好的特点,被广泛应用于仪表、显示领域.4-溴-4'-丙基联苯是一种重要的液晶中间体,现有的相关合成技术存在步骤复杂、原料高毒、产品纯度低等问题.以4-溴代联苯为起始原料,与丙酰氯发生傅克酰基化反应,再通过黄鸣龙还原得到终产物,通过重结晶提纯得到了纯度99.8%以上的 4-溴-4'-丙基联苯,反应综合产率为21.3%.通过红外分析、核磁氢谱分析和质谱分析确定产物的结构式为4-溴-4'-丙基联苯.
Abstract
Biphenyl liquid crystal has the characteristics of good photoelectric performance and chemical stability,is widely used in the field of instrumentation and display.4-Bromo-4'-propylbiphenyl is an important liquid crystal intermediate,there are some defects in existing related synthesis technologies such as complex steps,high toxicity of original materials and low product purity.In this paper,4-bromobiphenyl was used as the reactant,which reacted with propionyl chloride on the Friedel-Crafts Acylation,and then the final product was obtained by Wolff-Kishner-Huang reduction,and 4-bromo-4'-propylbiphenyl with a purity of more than 99.8%was obtained by recrystallization,the comprehensive yield of the reaction was 21.3%.Based on the results of IR,1H-NMR and MS,the sample was finally identified as 4-bromo-4'-propylbiphenyl.
