海底封存CO2泄漏过程的气泡羽流数值模拟

碳捕获和储存(CCS)技术被认为是减少发电厂和钢铁厂大量CO2 排放的可行替代方案.CO2 储存是CCS的一部分,目的是将排放的CO2 保存在海底深处的地质区域.这种储存的CO2 的泄漏可能形成CO2 气泡羽流,导致pH降低和海洋环境的CO2 分压增加,引起海洋酸化等问题.将基于计算流体动力学两种多相流模型(Volume of Fluid-VOF模型和欧拉双流体模型),结合气泡群体平衡模型,模拟了CO2 气泡在海水中流动扩散、破碎、聚合过程,由此预测CO2 泄漏过程中羽流中CO2 气泡的上升速度和尺寸分布,从而预测海洋封存CO2泄漏过程.
Modeling for Bubble Plume of CO2 Leakage from Ocean Storage
Carbon capture and storage(CCS)technology is seen as a potentially alternative to reducing the massive CO2 emissions from power plants and steel mills.Carbon dioxide storage is part of CCS,which aims to keep emitted carbon dioxide in geological areas deep under the sea.This leakage of stored carbon dioxide can lead to CO2 bubbles plumes,leading to the lower pH,the partial pressure of carbon dioxide rising and the ocean acidification.In this paper,two types of multiphase flow models(Volume of Fluid-VOF model and Euler model)in the computational fluid dynamic method,were used to describe the dynamic behavior of CO2 bubble plumes caused by CO2 storage leakage in the ocean.The population balance model(PBM)was used to simulate the flow diffusion,coalescence,breakup processes of CO2 bubbles in seawater,so as to calculate the rise velocity and size distribution of CO2 bubbles plume,predicting the process of CO2 leakage in sea storage.
