New Quality Productivity,Digital Financial Inclusion and Technical Complexity of Manufacturing Exports
The embodiment of technical complexity in the field of manufacturing ex-port can be comprehensively understood as the integrated reflection of export prod-uct quality,technical content and production efficiency.With the continuous expan-sion of China's opening up to the outside world,the export volume of manufactur-ing has increased significantly,but the technical complexity of exports is still lower than the world average.As a new driving force of economic development,the new quality productivity can improve the technical complexity of manufacturing export products through the fundamental innovation of technology,the innovative alloca-tion of production factors,and the in-depth transformation and upgrading process of industrial structure.Based on the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2010 to 2022,this paper explores the effect of new quality productivity on the technical complexity of manufacturing exports,the potential mechanism of digital financial inclusion,and explores its regional and industrial heterogeneity.The results show that the new quality productivity significantly improves the technical complexity of manufacturing exports,and this conclusion is still valid after many robustness tests.The mechanism test shows that the new quality productivity promotes the im-provement of the technical complexity of manufacturing exports through the level of digital inclusive finance.Heterogeneity analysis shows that in the eastern and central regions and high-tech manufacturing industries,the new quality productivity has a stronger role in promoting the technical complexity of exports.
