Based on the theory of educational economics,this article analyzes the impact of economy on vocational education in ASEAN countries from four aspects:the Singapore government promotes the growth of vocational education scale and level by increasing fiscal investment in education;Educational investment stimulates the development of the Singapore Institute of Vocational and Technical Education (ITE) in monetary terms;The new challenges facing Malaysia's labor market in the era of Industry 4.0;Social,historical,and economic factors that affect the equity of vocational education in Cambodia. The article summarizes the development trend of ASEAN vocational education integration from two aspects:stimulating innovation momentum through regional cooperation and addressing severe challenges through international cooperation.
