Abstract
Xi Jinping's cultural thought is an ideological system that integrates science and value,openness and tolerance,inheritance and innovation.It embodies the organic unity of"original"and"new",the overall balance of"front"and"back",and the comprehensive connection between"inside"and"outside".Xi Jinping's cultural thought provides a fundamental guideline for the cultural mission of the new era from many perspectives such as cultural inheritance,promotion,innovation and development,and injects a strong and lasting ideological impetus into the modernisation of party building in colleges and universities.It contains the Chinese spirit,Chinese values and Chinese strength of forging the soul with literature,nourishing the heart with literature,and increasing trust with literature.In the process of the modernisation of party building in colleges and universities,it faces practical challenges such as the lack of cultural and ideological inheritance,the weakening of cultural and ideological leadership,and the weak innovation of cultural and ideological innovation.Xi Jinping's cultural thought breaks down the barriers to the integration of cultural ideas into university party building,by leading the frontier exploration,shaping ideology and integrating cultural resources with Xi Jinping's cultural thought,and helps the high-quality development of party building modernisation in colleges and universities.
