The Study on Cultivating the Family-country Feelings Based on Cultural Memory Theory:Taking Yilin Version of Senior High School English Textbooks as an Example
Textbook is a demonstrative material for students to understand curriculum standards,acquire systematic knowledge,as well as inherit traditional Chinese culture.Through the statistical analysis of 56 texts in the new Yilin version of senior high school English textbooks,the results indicate that the new textbooks are oriented by the ideology of"cultivating people through subjects"and put the Chinese excellent traditional culture in a prominent position.In view of this,based on the cultural memory theory,this study regards traditional cultural texts of textbooks as"the aggregation of cultural memory"and conducts content analysis from the aspects of knowledge,time and emotion.Finally,four teaching suggestions are put forward,namely,developing analogical thinking,supplementing cultural materials,updating cognition gradually and enriching cultural experience,so as to provide reference for senior high school English cultural teaching.
