Under the background of the current continuous reform of basic education,it is an urgent and important issue to discuss the basic principles that should be followed in the in-service training of teachers.The paper expounds that in-service training of primary and secondary school teachers should follow the principles of demand-orientation,content first,appropriate methods,classification promotion and action improvement.To clarify and follow these principles is the premise and basis of further constructing training strategies,which has important practical significance for promoting teacher in-service training in the new era.
