Review and Prospect of Foreign Language Educational Informatization Research under the New Situation of Digital Empowerment:Knowledge Mapping Analysis Based on CNKI(2001-2023)Journals Literature
The research object is the academic journals on foreign language educational informatization collected in CNKI journals from 2001 to 2023.Based on the annual distribution and development trajectory,research hotspots,and research frontiers of scientific measurement and knowledge map visualization analysis,the results indicate that foreign language informatization has gone through three phases in the past 20 years:initial stage,rapid stage and deepening stage.The research hotspots focus on(1)College English and higher vocational English;(2)The English teaching mode represented by"flipped-classroom"and"smart classroom";(3)The English learning mode represented by"micro-course"and"mobile learning";(4)The improvement of English teacher's information literacy,while the research frontiers highlight the integration of information technology into ideology and politics in foreign language courses;the informatization of Junior English education;and digital empowerment.With the deepening of development trajectory,the current research status shows that the informatization of foreign language education has presented new development characteristics under the new situation.The development trajectory,research hotspots and research frontier of current research all highlight"Digital Empowerment".Therefore,it is necessary to explore a new approach to the development of digital-enabled foreign language educational informatization on the basis of summing up the historical development experience in an attempt to promote the further development of foreign language educational informatization.
