Research on the Evaluation Index System Construction and Improvement Path of Teachers'Competences in Higher Vocational Colleges
Through policy text analysis and literature research,the Delphi method and AHP method were used to construct a framework for evaluating the competences of vocational college teachers,as well as a first,second,and third level evaluation index system and its weight values,and a calculation model for the competences of vocational college teachers was established.We have designed evaluation criteria for three-level indicators of teacher competence and 100 evaluation point scale questions,developed a teacher competence evaluation system for vocational colleges,and conducted empirical research on the teacher competence index of vocational colleges from the aspects of basic conditions and competences,educational and teaching competences,scientific and technological research and development competences,and service inheritance and communication competences of teachers.The measurement results show that,from the perspective of the overall ability index of teachers,251 sample teachers have insufficient and unbalanced competences.They are still at a relatively low level in academic part-time jobs,teacher training and learning,teaching achievement awards,teaching ability competition awards,adoption of scientific research achievement transformation instructions,horizontal project research,product design and development,rural revitalization projects,cultural inheritance and innovation,international cooperation and exchange projects,etc.We should attach great importance to strengthening the basic conditions and competences of teachers,education and teaching competences,scientific and technological research and development competences,and service inheritance and exchange competences,and focus on improving the evaluation and improvement mechanism,monitoring mechanism,and platform mechanism of teacher competences in vocational colleges.
