Xi Jin ping's important discourse on the spirit of educators is a profound summary of the collective style and spiritual qualities of outstanding teachers in the new era.Guiding the enhancement of the ideological&political education teachers'quality and capacity in universities with the spirit of educators is of great value for serving the strategy of strengthening the country,strengthening the construction of the teaching staff for ideological&political courses,enhancing the level of moral education and talent cultivation among ideological and political teachers in universities,and cultivating new talents of the times.The spirit of educators and the enhancement of the ideological&political course teachers'quality and capacity in universities have consistency in theoretical foundations,integration in content knowledge,compatibility in goal orientation,and similarity in research methods.It is suggested to start with clarifying ideological goals,strengthening subject consciousness,strengthening platform construction,and improving focus points to strengthen the practical direction of guiding the enhancement of the ideological&political course teachers'quality and capacity in universities with the spirit of educators.
