From"Intrusion"to"Integration":the Dilemma and Relief of Role Adaptation for Non-native Rural Teachers
With the continuous improvement of the teacher employment system,non-native rural teachers have gradually become a new force in the ranks of rural teachers, and their role adaptation is one of the main bottlenecks of their professional growth.Based on the perspective of organizational socialization theory, this paper analyzes the role adaptation problems faced by non-native rural teachers in their identity transition choices. It is found that in the anticipatory socialization stage, their main challenge is the contradiction in self-identity,while in the transformation stage, their difficulty lies in the inability to reflect their self-worth,and that in the integration stage, the dilemma is the inability to achieve self-realization.It is suggested that the working environment of non-native teachers should be optimized to narrow the gap of role adaptation in different stages, and that a pre-service training base should be established to alleviate the psychological gap in the process of role adaptation. It is also suggested that the emotional connection should be strengthened to create a good psychological atmosphere for non-native teachers to adapt to their roles,so as to achieve the transition from"intrusion"to"integration"and better engage in the development of rural education.
