Mathematical Aesthetics:a Catalyst for Mathematical Enquiry
Historically, mathematical aesthetic activities have promoted the development of mathematics and played a guiding role in the choice of mathematicians'research directions.Integrating mathematical aesthetics into classroom teaching, giving full play to the motivational role of mathematical aesthetics, and guiding students to acquire knowledge in a way similar to the way mathematicians explore mathematics is a breakthrough way to better realise inquiry teaching.Teachers can explore the aesthetic materials of the"three themes"to create an aesthetic situation;pay attention to the humanistic return of the aesthetic experience to achieve spiritual enlightenment;implement the"three stages"of aesthetic perception to promote the process of development;and build the aesthetic standard of problem evaluation to improve the quality of the problem,so that mathematical aesthetics can become a catalyst for students to explore.
