On the"Birth"of Teacher Education Literature:Connotation,Value and Path——Based on the Experience of Curriculum "Research on Teachers in Films and Literature"
For a long time,the important value of literature for school teachers to carry out education has not been paid enough attention,and literature as an important medium to carry out teacher education has also been relatively ignored.Given this,based on the idea of humanism in teacher education,put forward the new research field of teacher education——teacher education literature through the dual paths of concept construction,which includes the experience of the curriculum Research on Teachers in Films and Literature which has been provided by the Centre for Teacher Education Research at Beijing Normal University since 2010 and the connotation of related core concepts.Teachers and teacher educators could restore the role of teachers in macro-cultural history,meso-society and institution,micro-individual teaching and learning through self-creation and creative interpretation of literary texts,and reflect the teachers' real situation and dilemma in the background of the rapid time change.On this basis,the whole connotation of the teacher as a "human being"and an "educator"as well as "self"and "others"as teachers could be reshaped.Furthermore,put forward that teacher education literature is a research field that studies the phenomenon of teacher and teacher education in literary texts from the perspective of teacher education,which uses literature as the medium.Moreover,teacher education literature is not only an essential part of teacher cultivating and training,but also could promote the professionalization of teacher education by reshaping its object"teacher".Therefore,teacher education literature has the"3-level"values:teach pre-service teachers to learn literature,teach pre-service teachers to learn to teach and to be the teacher,and teach future teacher educators to learn and teach pre-service teachers. Finally,it is necessary to construct the curriculum and instruction,academic and discourse system of teacher education literature in the future.
