Practical Strategies for the Design and Implementation of the"Autonomous Selected Learning"Project in Teacher Training
Teacher autonomous selected learning is a new measure for the reform and development of teacher training,and it is also an inevitable choice to improve the quality of teacher training.Traditional teacher training is mainly carried out in the way of"selecting teachers to learn".Such training generally deviates from the actual needs of teachers,resulting in poor targeting and effectiveness.The correlation between teacher training projects and training courses is insufficient,which leads to teachers' passive participation and the lack of initiative and enthusiasm in learning.The quality of teacher training is questioned.Teachers' principal status and their learning needs are respected in their autonomous selected learning,which establishes a close connection between teacher learning and training courses,and aims to stimulate teachers' motivation to participate in training actively.Therefore,we propose the design and implementation strategy of the "Four Accuracies,Five Steps and Four coordinations"for teacher autonomous selected learning project:Implementing the"Four Accuracies"is the prerequisite for doing a good job in teacher autonomous selected learning,that is,emphasizing precise analysis,positioning, formation of expert teams,and project evaluation ;Grasping the"Five Steps"is the key to constructing teacher autonomous selected learning,that is,strengthening the implementation of problem diagnosis, course construction,expert guidance,trainee testing,and effect evaluation and so on; Constructing the"Four coordinations"mechanism is the guarantee for the implementation of teacher autonomous selected learning,that is,focusing on establishing a"learning-centered"concept,adhering to taking the learner-centered approach and solving the learners' issues,clarifying the respective responsibilities and role positioning of educational administrative departments,project training institutions(including all kinds of teacher training institutions at all levels),expert training teams,and teachers in primary and secondary schools to improve the quality and efficiency of teacher training.
