Analysis of"synthesis and practice"Activities in the New Edition of Mathematics Textbooks for Primary School and Teaching Inspiration—Taking Textbooks of Beijing Normal University Edition as an example
Taking the new mathematics textbooks for primary school of Beijing Normal University edition as an example, this paper analyzes the format structure, situational types, activity modes, core problems, result presentation and evaluation of the textbooks'24"synthesis and practice"activities. It is found that the format structure of"synthesis and practice"activities is presented in three stages, namely overall preview and task clarity→task splitting and sequential promotion→results'presentation and comprehensive evaluation;the selection of situational types is mostly based on real-life situations;the activity modes advocate"group cooperation"and emphasize students'hands-on practical training;the core issue runs through three links, demonstrating different values;the results and evaluation of the activities comprehensively focus on the process, termination, diagnosis, and self-evaluation of the activity implementation.Based on this, the inspirations for the teaching based on"synthesis and practice"activities are as follows:the relationship between style structure and content should be attached importance to,and learners should be guided to grasp the content as a whole;the teachers should be good at using real situations provided by textbooks to design theme-introduction sections and propose task-based questions;teaching activities should be emphatically organized in the form of group cooperation and hands-on practice;problem resources should be used as a starting point and the intrinsic value of problems be used to achieve activity goals;the results should be presented and evaluated in a rich and diverse way to comprehensively reflect the effectiveness of the activities'implementation.
