A Comparative Study on the Curriculum Content and Academic Evaluation of Mathematics Curriculum Standards in China,Australia and Canada
The literacy oriented curriculum reform is the main theme of basic education reform in the 21st century.In this context,China,Australia,and Canada have issued the latest mathematics curriculum standards.By using text analysis method to analyze the curriculum content and academic evaluation in the three countries mathematics curriculum standards,it was found that the three countries presented the following characteristics in terms of curriculum content:adjusting the structure and theme of curriculum content,highlighting the internal connections of subject knowledge;reconstruct the presentation method of course content,reflecting the principle of consistency between learning and teaching evaluation;the distribution ratio of course content is different,but the key content themes are relatively consistent.The curriculum standards of the three countries period and the construction of an academic evaluation framework around mathematical content;focusing on mathematical processes to ensure effective implementation of evaluations;developing an academic evaluation framework based on the path of learning advancement and characterizing the level of evaluation.The reform of mathematics curriculum in our country should effectively draw on the practical advantages of Australian and Canadian curriculum standards,focus on improving the implementation path of interdisciplinary learning,further refine academic requirements and teaching suggestions,refine academic evaluation framework and performance level,and promote the implementation of core competency evaluation.
