The"Mr.Big"serves as an appellation for outstanding educators and pedagogues.It embodies a pinnacle of professional cultivation,representing the paragons among educators,imbued with unique personality traits.Comprehending the spiritual essence and personality traits of the"Mr.Big"is conducive to providing a tangible benchmark for personality cultivation in the construction of a high-quality teaching force in the new era.Based on the theory of personality traits and grounded theory,this article utilizes the Nvivo12Pro software to encode,aggregate,and analyze the textual materials of 45 contemporary educators in China,exploring the five dimensions and their connotations that constitute the portrait of the contemporary"Mr.Big"personality,namely"feeling,self-cultivation,responsibility,knowledge,and broad-minded."Taking the personality traits of the"Mr.Big"as a mirror,the current construction of the teaching force or teacher education practices should place greater emphasis on nurturing teachers'"noble sentiment",fostering emotional resilience,and attending to"holistic development",thereby cultivating"Mr.Big"endowed with"educational kindness".
