CONTRADICTION AS A DIFFERENTIATED GENE IN CAMPUS DESIGN
This paper takes Atelier Liu Yuyang Architec-ture practice in the educational projects as examples.By analyzing the contradiction of development model,the contradiction of community openness and safety management,the contradiction of normativity and mul-tiplicity of pedagogical space,and the contradiction of role stance encountered in the course of the project,this paper takes the contradiction as a differentiated gene for campus design,and proposes a systematic design methodology.It also summarizes the firm's core concepts of three-dimensional composites,enlightened geometry,natural wildness,playful boundaries,miniature lanes and guarded distances that have been developed in campus design.
