The residential building with commercial char-acter design is an popular trend,an innovative point of res-idential quality and a common requirement for ur-ban style control in regional planning.Ideally,this de-sign style has requirements for width,house type and cost.This paper explores the different methods that are applicable to different costs in the design of resi-dential buildings,summarizes several features of com-mon high-end housing facades with public build-ing style and discusses how to realize this style in resi-dential buildings with commercial character at low cost.
