RETHINKING ON UNIVERSITY SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH BUILDING DESIGN: A CASE STUDY OF TWO PROJECTS FROM BEIHANG UNIVERSITY
In recent years, there is a trend of diversi-fied development of scientific research buildings in Chinese universities. In order to cope with the increas-ingly complex and changeable trend of cross-integration of scientific research buildings, this paper takes two completed projects as examples and puts forward five design strategies: the strategy of combining complex experimental functional spaces with "intensification" of functional spaces, the strategy of unifying versatility and flexibility with "modularization" of process conditions, the strategy of constructing a green ecological space system with sunken courtyard space as the core, the strategy of constructing a systematic and distributed shared space with communication and service as the core functions, and the strategy of balancing the general condition and the special condition of the experimental process.
