With the continuous improvement of social awareness of protecting and carrying forward Chinese traditional culture, and the creation of cultural environ-ment, and the way of protecting and reusing traditional buildings has become an important topic in urban devel-opment. In this paper, the subjective questionnaire and eye movement experiment data are used to analyze the perceptual elements, and six existing cases in Jinzhong area are empirically studied. The laws of users' visual observation during the visit are analyzed, and the correla-tion among architectural space design elements, users' eye movement behavior and subjective evaluation are analyzed. The feasibility of combining eye movement experiment with subjective evaluation is demonstrated. The optimization and upgrading strategy of traditional architectural exhibition space is put forward.
