ETHNIC ORIGIN AND GEOGRAPHICAL RELATIONSHIP: NEW HAKKA ARCHITECTURE IN FUJIAN AND TAIWAN
The formation of regional architectural culture is under the influence of natural conditions and historical culture in the region,and culture is spread and devel-oped with the migration of human beings. Starting from the correlation between ethnic origin and geography, this paper takes the new Hakka architecture in Fujian and Taiwan as the research object, compares and analyzes the similarities and differences of the new Hakka architecture in contemporary Fujian and Taiwan from the perspective of the intersection among Hakka ethnology, geography and other disciplines and architecture, discusses the rel-evance of ethnic origin, geography and architectural cul-ture, and explores the establishment of a basic paradigm for the comparative study of Fujian and Taiwan architec-tures, to provide a theoretical basis for the research and design practice of contemporary regional architecture.
