NEW MODEL OF COMMUNITY COMMERCIAL DESIGN BASED ON THE REVIVAL OF SUBURBAN PUBLIC LIFE: A CASE STUDY OF YANJIAO JIADUMAO MALL PROJECT
With the acceleration of urbanization, the urban functions of many suburbs are gradually single, so that they are unable to provide necessary urban public service functions and public living space. The project of Jiadumao Mall in Yanjiao combines community com-merce with community interactive space, gives the com-munity commerce urban attributes and social interaction functions, and creats places and opportunities for the surrounding citizens to communicate with each other, in order to provides new ideas for commercial design of suburban community in the future.
