DESIGN PRACTICE OF LOCALIZATION IN CULTURAL ARCHITECTURE CONSTRUCTED BY PREFABRICATION: TAKING YOUYANG CULTURAL CENTER AND XUZHOU CHILDREN'S ACTIVITY CENTER AS EXAMPLES
As an important materialization result of cul-ture, cultural buildings carry many intangible meanings. "Localization" is the fundamental expression of various meanings. Its diverse characteristics determine that cul-tural buildings have requirement for diversity in space and form. Therefore, prefabricated construction methods are rarely used in cultural buildings. This paper will use the strategy of "land-based rationalism" as a catalyst to discuss the "localization" construction process of cultural buildings constructed by prefabrication through two cases of Youyang Culture Center and Xuzhou Children's Activity Center.
