EXPLORING OPEN DESIGN OF CONTEMPORARY HOSPITAL ARCHITECTURE: TAKING THE CANCER CENTER OF GAIS HOSPITAL IN LONDON AS AN EXAMPLE
Open design plays a crucial role in providing high-quality medical services and improving patients' experience. This paper aims to deeply explore the appli-cation mode of open design in contemporary hospitals, to analyze its principles, impact and practical application effects, and to take the Cancer Center of Gais Hospital in London as an example. It investigates how open design improves patient experience and medical efficiency, and promotes sustainable hospital operation. It is hoped that this can provide useful references for the design of future hospital buildings.
