LOW CARBON AND HEALTHY DESIGN STRATEGIES FOR ULTRA-HIGH-RISE BUILDINGS
In the context of global climate change and energy crises, ultra-high-rise buildings are "major contributors" of energy consumption and carbon emis-sions in urban. Therefore, low carbon and healthy design strategies of ultra-high-rise building are crucial for urban green development. These strategies include urban en-vironmental design, optimization of building and indoor environments, and the use of renewable energy. National policies on energy-saving requirements and guidance for ultra-high-rise buildings, including height restrictions, green building standards and the application of renew-able energy, provide support for achieving low carbon and healthy goals. These strategies can not only enhance ultra-high-rise buildings' energy efficiency, but also offer healthy and comfortable living and working spaces for people, while promoting social harmony and ecological balance.
