NAVIGATING THE PATH TO ZERO-CARBON PRACTICE, RIDING THE WAVES OF GREENING TREND: TAKING CHINA OVERSEAS HEADQUARTER BUILDING AS AN EXAMPLE
Under the trends in sustainable develop-ment and goal of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, the building industry as one of the three largest energy consumers, should work to alleviate consumption of natural resources, as well as adverse effect on ecologi-cal environment. This paper introduces China Overseas Headquarter Building Zero-Carbon Intelligent Building Demonstration Project, which was deeply integrated with the zero-carbon and near-zero-energy conceptions from beginning to end. This paper leverages passive energy saving technologies, high efficiency energy systems and renewable energy technologies, to substantially reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions for building operation. At the same time, by means of intelligent op-eration management, this paper explores the operational mechanism carbon trading market and green finance mechanism, and implements the goal of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality into the whole life cycle of archi-tectural engineering, to provide references for the green development of ultra-high-rise buildings.
