ANALYSIS ON ARCHITECTURAL SITUATION: CORRELATION BETWEEN PHYSICAL PERCEPTION AND STIMULATION OF INTRINSIC BEHAVIOR IN SPACE
Architectural forms are created by the mu-tual influence of various complex factors. Differences in formation conditions lead to individual differences, while a tendency towards uniformity in the design forms ap-pears at the same time. Throughout the development of modernist architecture, there has been a sign of design emphasizing the placement of "situation" in the process of its continuous improvement. By introducing the theory of Situationist International, this paper not only discusses the design trend of situation embeddedness, but also summarizes the characteristics of architectural situa-tion. Besides, through taking the Rolex Learning Center and the teaching buildings of UTEC as typical cases, and under the trend of architectural situational construction, this paper demonstrates the correlation between users' external physical perception and the stimulation of their intrinsic behavior.
