摘要
高校图书馆藏书的不断增长带来了物理空间不足的问题,一栋新的中心图书馆建筑似乎并不是回应上述问题的最佳答案.本文总结了建筑加建、分馆建设、本地存储设施和远程存储设施四种高校非中心图书馆的建筑类型,发现建设资金、校园场地可用性、印刷资源购置及存储成本、索引摘要与电子获取仓储自动化,是促使建筑类型出现及其演进的主要因素.随着我国在远程存储方面的研究和建设的发展,本文将为我国类似研究和项目实践提供一定的经验和启示.
Abstract
A new central library building may not be the best answer to the problem of insufficient physical space caused by the growing collection of university libraries.This paper summarizes four building types of non-central libraries in colleges and universities,namely,building ad-dition,branch library construction,local storage facilities and remote storage facilities.Construction funds,campus site availability,print resource acquisition and storage costs,indexed abstracts and electronic access,and auto-mation of warehousing are the main factors driving the emergence and evolution of building types.Along with the research and construction of remote storage in our country,this paper will provide some experience and enlightenment for similar research and projects in our country.
