RESEARCH ON SPATIAL GENETIC MAP OF TRADITIONAL VILLAGES IN LIAO RIVER BASIN,LIAONING PROVINCE
This paper takes twelve national level tradi-tional villages in the Liao River Basin,Liaoning Province as the research objects.Based on the theory of spatial genes,field investigations,in-depth interviews and the six-step analysis method are used to analyze the elements of mountain-water pattern,sequence structure,village form,street texture,courtyard orientation,architectural form,color texture,and courtyard relationships from landscape,settlement and architecture at three levels.Unique and relatively stable spatial combination patterns are ex-tracted,and spatial gene maps of the twelve villages are constructed.The aim is to provide valuable guidance for the protection and inheritance of traditional villages.
