The successful hosting of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics has achieved the goal of"engaging 300 million people in winter sports",and makes China be the largest potential market for skiing worldwide.This paper focuses on the design and research of dry ski aeras,pro-poses new ski aera models that utilize innovative materi-als,structures and measures to enable year-round use.By integrating the engineering practice of constructing the Laiyuan National Ski Jumping Training and Research Complex for the Chinese national team's preparations for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics,this paper elucidates the significance in improving athlete performance,pro-moting mass participation in skiing,and contributing to building a leading sports nation and a"healthy China".
