EXPLORING THE DESIGN OF UNIVERSITY MAKER SPACE BASED ON STUDENT BEHAVIOR PATTERN:TAKING GUANGZHOU UNIVERSITIES AS EXAMPLES
In the context of the innovation-driven devel-opment strategy, universities serve as important bases for cultivating innovative talents, and the construction of maker space is flourishing. However, the current crea-tion of maker space lacks specificity, and is difficult to meet the diverse needs of students from different majors for innovation and entrepreneurship. There is a lack of corresponding regulatory guidance, and the quality of construction varies. This paper reviews the current devel-opment status of university maker space, takes Guang-zhou's university maker space architectures as examples, summarizes the relationship between maker space and student behavior pattern from student innovation and entrepreneurship behavior and space usage status, and attempts to propose design principles and corresponding strategies for accessibility, openness, sharing and person-alization of university maker space,to provide references for future design and renovation of university maker space.
