DESIGN EXPLORATION OF THEMATIC THEATERS UNDER THE DEMAND FOR INTEGRATED AUDIENCE-PERFORMANCE:A CASE STUDY OF"IMPRESSION TAI CHI"THEATER
The changes in the spatial organization be-tween the"audience"and the"performance"have posed new design requirements for contemporary performance architecture.It is not only necessary to customize theater spaces that meet the needs of audience-performance integration under different themes,but also to present new challenges in terms of integrating architecture into the site,expressing local culture and providing emotional support.By leveraging the design of the"Impression Tai Chi"Theater in Henan Province,this paper explores methods such as form and material,circulation organiza-tion,and activity perception to achieve the dissolution of form,emotional continuity and the attraction of audience participation in performances,thereby exploring the pos-sibility of dissolving the"audience-performance"bound-ary.This aims to seek new forms of expression under the pursuit of audience-performance integration.
