The Changing Logic and Future Trend of Rural Family Parenting Culture:Based on the Fieldwork in Nancun
The rural family parenting culture presents different historical patterns under the double pressure of both social and family changes.The rural family parenting culture has gone through three major types since the founding of the People's Republic of China more than 70 years ago:survival parenting culture,transitional parenting culture,and developmental parenting culture.Under the framework of"symbol-meaning-grammar"family parenting culture analysis,the symbolic change of"observable parenting culture"and the change of the meaning structure or the grammar of"unobservable parenting culture"have their own logic.The changes in rural family parenting culture have both historical opportunities and many challenges in the future.So the renewal and development of family parenting culture can only be realized in both"looking forward(outward)"and"looking backward(inward)".A deep understanding in the change logic of rural family parenting culture can help break through the mainstream epistemology set of the inferiority round of rural family parenting culture and help to respond to the dilemma of rural family parenting culture objectively and rationally.
