Numerical simulation on non-uniform distribution of solar radiation heat in glass curtain wall buildings
The intensity of solar radiation varies significantly under different conditions, and this non-uniformity is par-ticularly evident in glass curtain wall buildings. The traditional assumption of uniform distribution of indoor radiation environment is not applicable to glass curtain wall buildings.Through numerical simulation, the distribution character-istics of solar radiation in buildings with large window-to-wall ratios in different orientations are analyzed. The indoor solar radiation distribution shows significant unevenness, with different wall surfaces having varying ratios of solar radi-ation distribution. For direct radiation, the distribution ratio of ground solar radiation is much higher than that of other indoor walls, reaching up to 87% on the summer solstice. There is also significant unevenness in the distribution of so-lar radiation on a single wall of a building. The intensity of solar radiation distribution in the near-window area of each wall is greater than that in the far-window area, with direct solar radiation being the decisive factor affecting the uneven distribution of solar radiation on the wall.
