Abstract
“MOOC”(short for “Massive Open Online Course”)is rooted in the development of both educational ideas and technology.With its unparal eled advantages and convenience,MOOC has swept across the globe.In recent years,the reform of Col ege English Teaching in China has been booming in institutions of higher education.Considering the predicament that Col ege English Teaching was faced with the chal enge in the curriculum reform,this paper probes into the possibility that MOOC wil provide a unique opportunity for the curriculum reform of Col ege English Teaching.
