Research on Overseas Dissemination of Hakka Literature Based on Bibliometric Analysis
To comprehensively investigate the overseas dissemination of Hakka culture,this study employs bibliometric methods to analyze the global library collection data provided by the WorldCat bibliographic database of the Online Computer Library Center(OCLC).Based on this database,it surveys the number of libraries overseas that collect Hakka-related documents and their distribution across countries and regions.Additionally,it outlines a rough map delineating the overseas dissemination of Hakka literature,focusing on the dissemination status of Hakka-related documents in English in foreign countries,especially in the United States.Furthermore,it provides a summary of the key research topics and trends in Hakka studies since the 19th century,thereby offering insights for research on the overseas dissemination of Hakka literature.
