Retrospect and Prospect:A Review of Confucius Mansion Research in Recent Years
Thanks to the Chinese government's emphasis on traditional Chinese culture and the unveiling of the Kong Family Archives(Kong Fu Dang'an),the recent years have witnessed notable strides both in exploration into the Kong family lineage and development and organization of Kong Family Archives,and in the research from socio-political,economic,cultural perspectives.Nonetheless,the journey of this research remains ongoing with many questions unanswered,and thus it is imperative for us to be fully aware of them and actively seek improvement.Therefore,a broader perspective on the Confucius Mansion,more diverse sources of historical materials,and interdisciplinary theoretical approaches are called for in an effort to advance the research on the Kong Family Archives to a higher level.
