Intangible Cultural Heritage Census in the Yellow River Basin of Inner Mongolia——A Case Study of the Census in Four Banners of Ordos along the Yellow River of Inner Mongolia
The unique geographical unit and ecological environment,the long-term collision and integration of nomadic civilization and farming civilization,and the history and practice of exchanges and integration of various ethnic groups have brought up the important status and value of the intangible cultural heritage of four banners in Ordos City(four regions of Otug,Hangin,Dalad and Jungar)along the Yellow River.Their status and value are reflected in the overall protection,inheritance and promotion of the Yellow River culture,and in consolidating the consciousness of Chinese national community,building the common spiritual home of the Chinese nation,in building the brand of Chinese northern borderland culture to promote the construction of Chinese northern borderland culture in Inner Mongolia,and in the economic,social and cultural development of Ordos.The intangible cultural heritage of the four regions in Ordos City has distinct characteristics,such as the integration and mutual learning of animal husbandry culture and farming culture,the organic integration and mutual promotion of folk literature and folk customs,the enrichment of sacrificial culture and high compatibility of the ecological civilization,and containing of the traditional skills showing regional characteristics.The census of intangible cultural heritage in Ordos is the first comprehensive,systematic and scientific survey of intangible cultural heritage in the Yellow River Basin of Inner Mongolia.Through exploration and practice,a new model suitable for the census of intangible cultural heritage in the belt region has been summarized,which has played a demonstration role in carrying out the census of intangible cultural heritage in other regions of Ordos,and a model for intangible cultural heritage census,with unique features of Ordos,has been created,which not only effectively protects intangible cultural heritage,but also enables the rational utilization and scientific development of intangible cultural heritage,thus driving the healthy development of local economy,society and culture.It is a new breakthrough in the whole region's intangible cultural heritage census,and has played a positive role in promoting the protection,inheritance,development,utilization and research of intangible cultural heritage in Ordos and even the whole Yellow River basin in Inner Mongolia.
