摘要
杜甫《咏怀古迹五首》在诗歌史上地位卓然,作为七言律体组诗典范,宋元以降,从组诗主旨、诗句到诗题皆被广泛追慕、化用与仿拟,成为中国乃至东亚诗歌的典范题目.然而,"咏怀古迹"本身既不合于唐诗通例语法,又不符于诗题传统.宋代杜集编注之风兴起后,注家对《咏怀古迹五首》自题目文法到篇章结构等诸问题频有疑义,多疑为编注者伪合而成,并非杜诗原貌,然而注家在以经旨注杜诗的束缚下往往曲意弥合,导致诗题阐释牵于成说,难以合理.文章从朱鹤龄所记"吴若本"异文入眼,辨析赵次公、黄鹤等诸家旧注,在此基础上通过考辨咏怀与怀古制题传统的嬗变线索,廓清环绕《咏怀古迹五首》诗题主旨的纷纭众说,重构理解《咏怀古迹五首》诗题的传统脉络,揭示诗作流转过程中因编纂与注解之割剥误会而被蒙覆和曲解的意义.
Abstract
Du Fu's"Five Poems on Remembering Ancient Sites"holds a prestigious place in the history of poetry,serving as a model of seven-character regulated verse.From the Song and Yuan dynasties,the themes,verses,and titles of this series have been widely admired,emulated,and adapted,becoming exemplary topics in Chinese and even East Asian poetry.However,the phrase"remembering ancient sites"itself does not conform to the conventional grammar of Tang poetry nor to traditional poetic titles.With the rise of annotating Du Fu's collections during the Song dynasty,annotators frequently questioned the grammatical structure and composition of the title and the entire series,suspecting that the title might have been a fabricated composition rather than Du Fu's original work.Yet,constrained by the conventions of scriptural annotation,annotators were often inclined to align with established interpretations,making it difficult to provide reasonable explanations.This paper starts with the variant text in the annotation by Wu Ruo recorded by Zhu Heling,analyzes old annotations by Zhao Cigong,Huang He,and others,and through examining the evolving tradition of themes in"remembering"and"ancient sites",clarifies the various interpretations on the main theme of"Five Poems on Remembering Ancient Sites",reconstructing the traditional understanding of the series'title.This paper intends to reveal the misinterpretations and obfuscations that occurred during the compilation and annotation process.
