敦煌文献与唐代文学的"环境"

摘要
敦煌文献提供了唐代文学产生的语言环境、文献环境和文学环境.通过与敦煌文献比对,可以确定唐代文学作品中的一些疑难字词.唐代诗文中还有一些语句因字面简单,故具体所指众说纷纭,但借助敦煌文献可以确定作者的确切用意.通过敦煌文献还可以辨明唐代文学作品中异文的是非及原因.敦煌文献一定程度上反映了唐五代文人的阅读内容,由此出发,可以为一些作品作辨伪工作,并可确定一些语句的材料来源和确切含义.敦煌文献还提供了唐五代一般知识人文学书写的基本形式和样貌,将之与文人作品对比,可以更好地理解后者的文学性和创作过程.
Abstract
The Dunhuang manuscripts,preserving the original appearance of the Tang and Five Dynasties,provide the linguistic,documentary,and literary environment in which Tang literature was produced.By comparing with the Dunhuang manuscripts,it is possible to identify some difficult words and phrases in Tang Dynasty literary works.Some sentences in Tang poetry and prose,due to their simple wording,have been subject to various interpretations,but the Dunhuang manuscripts can help ascertain the exact intention of the authors.The manuscripts also help distinguish the correctness and reasons for variant texts in Tang literature.To some extent,the Dunhuang manuscripts reflect the reading content of literati during the Tang and Five Dynasties.This can be used for authentication work and to determine the material sources and exact meanings of some phrases.Furthermore,the manuscripts provide the basic form and appearance of general knowledge and humanities writing during the Tang and Five Dynasties.By comparing these with literati works,one can better understand the literary nature and creative process of the latter.
