Conflict and Dissolution:The Disappearance of Technological Neutrality and the Crisis of Capital Orientation in AIGC Educational Applications
The intelligence,convenience,and accessibility of the new generation artificial intelligence technology have further stimulated the urgent pursuit of emerging technologies in the field of education,but educators are often trapped in the mindset of"how new technologies can empower teaching and learning",while ignoring whether there is a contradiction between the"educational attribute"and"capital attribute"in the enabling mechanism of new technologies to empower teaching and learning.From the perspective of public choice,AI generated content(AIGC)tools empowering education will lead to the disappearance of technological neutrality due to the capital's pursuit of profit maximization,resulting in monopolistic and standardized practices under capital orientation,bringing about the digital field segregation under capital control.The AIGC tool,as a technology for education,will generate the intentional conflict between educational attributes and capital attributes,the standard conflict between democratic attributes and monopolistic attributes,and the fairness conflict between public attributes and differentiation attributes.Therefore,in order to eliminate the capital oriented crisis of AIGC,it is necessary to start from four practical paths of regulating educational intentions from the top,circumventing educational monopoly by data heterogeneity,promoting human-intelligence synergy to enhance digital capabilities,and constructing educational platforms by multi-party synergy.
