Study on the migration and transformation pattern of nitrogen in the process of groundwater recharge from riverbed
This paper focuses on the migration and transformation of nitrogen components in groundwater during riverbed recharge through laboratory dynamic simulation experiments. In considering the effect of infiltration water on NH4+-N and NO3--N concentrations during recharge of groundwater feeds, control, sterilised, pretreated media and midline groups were selected for comparative experiments. The results show:NH4+-N and NO3--N concentrations show complex spatial and temporal variations in groundwater, with some differences in water quality evolution between treatment groups.Among them, the pretreated media group showed higher NH4+-N and NO3--N concentrations, and the indigenous bacteria may play a fa-cilitating role in nitrogen transport and transformation. In contrast, the midline group had lower NO3--N concentrations and may have been subject to the inhibitory effect of the diversion source. The experimental results in this paper provide a new per-spective for understanding the evolution of groundwater quality during riverbed recharge and provide a reference for water quali-ty management during artificial groundwater recharge.
