Thickness recovery of Upper Palaeozoic denudation in the Ordos Basin Extension Prospect
Stripping thickness recovery is the basis for quantitative analyses such as basin geological modelling,burial e-volution,and hydrocarbon formation.In this paper,on the basis of drilling,logging and logging data,the preferred method of stripping volume recovery is the stratigraphic trend comparison method,supplemented by the extrapolation method of mudstone compaction curve,and the stripping volume recovery is carried out on the profile.The study shows that in the Late Triassic and Jurassic,the top of the Prolongation Formation suffered from weak denudation,and on the whole showed the characteristics of thick in the east and thin in the west,with the thickness of denudation ranging between 0 m and 300 m.The Late Cretaceous Yanchang Formation suffered denudation east of the Huangling-Fuxian-Zichang line,with a thickness generally above 500 m.The denudation of the Yanan/Fuxian Formation expanded westward,with denudation thicknesses ranging from 0 m to 400 m,and the Zhiluo/Anding Formation was denuded east of the Yan762-Yan1773-Yan268-Yan1092-Yan893-Yan908-Yan1410 line,with thicknesses ranging from 0 m to 300 m.The Late Cretaceous Yanchang Formation was denuded east of the Huangling-Fuxian-Zichang line,with thicknesses ranging from 0 m to 300 m.The Lower Cretaceous generally suffered from denudation,the thickness of denudation is distributed in 650~2 000 m,with the characteristics of low thickness in the west and high thickness in the east in the plane,and the thickness of denudation is the largest in the areas of Jingbian,Zi-cang,Zizhou,etc.,and it can reach more than 1 500 m.
